Shirley Cox

Shirley Mae Cox, age 79 of Freeman passed away at her home on December 25th 2023.  Shirley was born on November 24, 1944 in Mitchell S.D.  She graduated from Bridgewater High School in 1962 and was Valedictorian of her class.  In 1966 she graduated from Augustana College with a teaching degree. After college she attended Oxford University in the U.K. to further her teaching education.

Shirley was preceded in death by her husband David Cox, her parents Edwin and Amanda (Meyer) Jucht, and her brother James  Jucht of Sioux Falls.

 Grateful for having shared her life are brother John (Carol) Jucht of Sioux Falls, sister-in-law Lois Jucht of Sioux Falls,  brother Mark (ReNee) Jucht of Spokane Valley, WA and brother Todd (Christie) Jucht of Sammamish WA.

 A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
