Roger kept the Lord close to his heart and was a faithful member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and St. John’s Lutheran Church where he served as an elder, Sunday school teacher, and member of the choir.
After retiring, Roger enjoyed traveling with his family and friends. He treasured the wonderful memories from their trips to Germany, the Holy Land, Portugal, northern Minnesota, and many other beautiful places. He also took great pride in watching his grandson’s sporting events.
He will be remembered for his enjoyment of life, his quick wit and humor, and his ability to strike up a conversation with all.
