Craig Steffen

Craig Allen Steffen, aged 76, passed away on March 7, 2026, in Sun City, AZ.  Born on December 3, 1949 in Olivet SD, Craig was a dedicated Christian and a cherished family member whose life touched many.

An individual of honesty and integrity, Craig was always willing to lend a hand, supporting friends and colleagues alike. He had an undeniable presence that could be both amiable and at times challenging, reflecting a personality that was as complex as it was genuine.

Craig proudly enlisted in the Army immediately after high school, completing three years of active duty in Germany.  Throughout his life he was proud to have served his country.

As we remember Craig, we celebrate a man whose unwavering dedication to God and his loved ones will leave and enduring legacy in the hearts of all who knew him.  His spirit will be greatly missed, but his contributions and the love he shared will remain a guiding light for many.

Craig is survived by his sisters Brenda Wilson, Rhonda Taggert and Kathy Hefeneider. He was preceded in death by his parents Douglas and Elaine Steffen.

Graveside services with military honors will be in Marion, SD at Greenwood Cemetery, Thursday, March 26th at 2PM.
